Why is only one of my ChatGPT assistants available in Zapier?

Hi there, I’m trying to connect Chat GPT in zapier in one of the assistant I created. But for some reason it’s only showing 1 of the assistant I made. How can I make the other ones available here?

If you know the Assistant ID, then you cause try using the Custom tab to set that value.

Hi @greysonz1997! 👋

Hmm, I’ve been taking a look at the options available for that Create Conversation with Assistant action and the Assistant field only allows you to select assistants not custom GPTs.

For example, if you created an assistant called “Recipe Assistant” from within OpenAI here: https://platform.openai.com/assistants

That assistant would then become available to select in the Assistant field’s dropdown menu in the Zap:

So at the moment seems it’s not possible to select a custom GPT from within a Zap. Instead you would use Zapier’s AI Actions to give a custom GPT access to the power of Zapier. You can find out more about this here: https://actions.zapier.com/docs/#about
