What simple automation hacks to reduce repetitive work do you do?

I keep seeing people spend hours on repetitive tasks every week. And frankly, I’m one of them. :)

Curious how others handle this without burning out? I’ve been experimenting with basic automations to move info between apps and cut down on manual steps.

What’s your approach for small tasks that keep repeating?

Hi @aelawson

You can search available Zap app integrations here: https://zapier.com/apps

Each Zap app has a profile page that lists the available triggers/actions and help links to reference.

You can ask the AI Copilot in Zapier to help you automate.

Hello @aelawson

Very relatable. Those small repeat tasks add up fast.

My rule is if I do something more than twice a week, I try to automate it. I usually start with a simple trigger and one action, then build from there only if needed.

Using Zapier’s built in apps like Formatter and Utilities helps cut manual cleanup, and Templates are great for getting started without overthinking it. Even saving a few minutes at a time really compounds.

What kind of tasks are you automating so far?
