What makes the [Updated File in Google Drive] trigger ?

Hello Community.

I’m just eager to better understand this GDrive trigger.

I tried renaming or modifying (via MacOS terminal) the modification date of an existing PDF file within a GDrive folder and the Zap doesn’t take it into account.

 

So I’d like to know if anyone knows what specific updates make the file considered as Updated and therefore triggers

Hi @davabi 

The GDrive Updated File is NOT an instant trigger (see Scheduled at the bottom right).

This means the Zap will trigger with a delay of 1-15 minutes based on your Zap plan.

Check your Zap Runs to see if you Zap has fired after some time: https://zapier.com/app/history/
