What is considered a task?

Hi guys!

I read the documentation regarding tasks but i still don't understand what is considered a task completely.

I made a zap that does this:
Each time a user joins a mailerlite group it will create a row in a google sheet with the selected info.

From what i read each row that gets created is considered a task. Our account has a limit of 750. In our sheet we have 1000+ contacts so that means the limit was exceeded. We do have the Pay per task over account limit enabled, but there is nothing showing there. How is this possible and what am i getting wrong?

Thank you 🙏

Hi @Magiccopywriting

Help: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496196837261-How-is-usage-measured-in-Zapier

Tasks reset on a monthly billing cycle.

There is the option to enable pay-per-task for usage overages: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/15279018245901-How-pay-per-task-billing-works-in-Zapier

You can check your Zap Runs history to see your Task Usage: https://zapier.com/app/history
