We are building a social, emotional, and behavioral assessment inspired by the BESSI 96, which evaluates 32 skill facets within six domains.

We currently have a Survey Monkey form collecting user data and answers to 96 questions, which we want to input into a Google Sheet for scoring through Zapier or a different automation service.

We face two main challenges:
1. Collect formula-based scores from Google Sheets, as Zapier needs help retrieving formula values.
2. Ensuring that each participant's scores are not affected by others' responses by creating separate instances of the scoring sheet.

Desired Outcome
Upon receiving a response in our Survey Monkey form, we want to:

1. Calculate the scores for the 32 skill facets and six domains in Google Sheets.

2. Integrate the scores into a Google Doc with custom visualizations, definitions, and a personalized story generated by the OpenAI model, highlighting the user's strengths and weaknesses.

3. Convert the Google Doc into a PDF and email it to the user through Mailchimp, integrated with Zapier automation.

Any help would this would save us. We are on a limited schedule and must get this assessment up soon as many students lives can be impacted by this assessment.

We need a hero that can help us solve these challenges and put up this assessment with the custom scoring results.

Hi @SELJapan

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

There are several ways you may try what you’re trying to achieve.

Here’s a link of how you may create formulas with Google Sheets and perhaps you can mix it with a bit of Formatter by Zapier.

Formatter by Zapier: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496044811917-How-to-Get-Started-with-Formatter-by-Zapier

However, to ensure we’re on the same page, what do you mean by “Collect formula-based scores?” Would you like to get the formulas as is? Or are you having difficulty getting the output of the formula?

That’ll help me make sure I give you the best suggestion possible. Looking forward to your response! 😊

Dear Charlie,

Thank you so much for your response!

We need to get the output of the formula. In order to map it to a Google slides deck.

Additionally, is there a way to convert a Google slides deck to a static file such as a PDF, save it in Google Drive, and send that PDF file through email?

It feels great to receive a reply to our questions.

We looking forward to your reply

Hi @SELJapan

Jumping in to see if I can help!

Slides can only use image URLs that end with an image file extension, like .jpg or .png.

However, looking at our records, we currently have a feature request open for allowing to upload images. I'm happy to add you to this request, and should the team ever add support for this feature, we'll be sure to send you an email to let you know.
