Hi there @Source One's Bliss,
I've looked into this for you and would like to ask a few questions to rule out some possibilities that could result in the bump purchases not triggering the Zap.
- Are you using PayPal (or some other intermediary payment portal) to route the payments?
According to ThriveCart Support, if a user is routing their Product Payments through a PayPal portal and their IPN settings are not pointing to the right place, it would block ThriveCart's ability to notify a third-party app like Zapier of a Product Purchase via their API.
In short, PayPal IPN has to send a ping back to ThriveCart to change various Order statuses on their side. Those, in turn, generate notifications to third parties. If the IPN isn't set up to ping ThriveCart, they can't ping Zapier to trigger these Zaps.
- Also, would it be possible to test if creating a "Test" cart (so not Live) for a test purchase in ThriveCart would trigger the Zap?
I'll keep an eye out for your response, please feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Thank you so much for your help!
We do offer paypal as an option, but we offer stripe payments as well and it seems that it is not sending for either payment when purchasing from the toggle option.
I have tried live sales as well as several “test” carts and I am getting the same results every time.
Hi @Source One's Bliss,
Thanks for the update here.
You mentioned that you have the option to toggle to add the bump to their order. ThriveCart has a Bump Purchase trigger, could you please try using that trigger and check if the Zap will trigger?

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!
