Is it possible to use Zapier to add a Eventbrite booking to a scheduled Calendy event, which has the needed confirmation reminders etc… already set-up? If you set-up an event on Eventbrite can attendees then receive a generated Teams link through Calendly so that is registered on the scheduler, or can this only be done but running it through Teams and and manually sending out confirmation and links rather that the scheduler automatically doing this for you once set-up.

Hi @Suzie B

The Calendly API does not currently support scheduling events directly on behalf of invitees, even for admins.
As of now, there is no API endpoint that allows programmatically creating or booking meetings through the API.
This limitation applies across all user roles, including admins and owners.

Review the available Zap triggers/actions for each app:

Hi @Suzie B! 👋

Just came across this, and it looks like Troy is spot on—Calendly’s API doesn’t support creating scheduled events directly. Only one-off meetings can be created, which you would use the Create One-Off Meeting (Calendly) action for.

I’d recommend reaching out to our Support team here to put in a feature request for the ability to create scheduled events. That will help flag the need for this to Calendly’s developers from our side. It’d also be worth reaching out to Calendly’s Support team directly about this as well.

In the meantime, since you mentioned using Teams, I wonder if you could use the Microsoft Outlook app to create the event instead? According to this guide on the Calendly website, Calendly can sync with Outlook calendars, so that might allow the confirmations and reminders to be sent from Calendly. 🤔

Do you think that approach could work for what you’re trying to do?
