Use Zap to Update Existing Event in Google Calendar (Google Forms)

I have a Zap set successfully to create a new event when someone submits a google form. All working fine.

If someone edits their form response, I want to edit the calendar event to match.

I assume the process is something like this:

I have tried to edit the Forms (Responses) spreadsheet, but I can’t find the right row to use. I don’t seem to be able to add a Calendar ID.

Any help appreciated!

Thank you

I think I’ve worked it out. I created a new column, added the calendar ID output from the Calendar Event to that column, and then used a second Zap to search for that ID, and update that event - similar to the linked post.

Unfortunately, this requires an additional search step which is not possible on a free plan.
