The files created by Zap step 3 are temp files that expire after a short time. (e.g. 1 hour)

Try retesting each Zap action step again in order.

That’s a really good use case — automating email uploads to OneDrive can save a lot of manual effort, especially if you deal with frequent attachments or reports. The key is to make sure your trigger and action steps are clearly defined in Zapier.

You can start by setting Gmail (or Outlook) as your trigger app and use the “New Email” event filtered by the sender’s address. Then, for the action step, connect OneDrive and choose “Upload File” as your action. If your emails have attachments, you can map those directly to the upload field.

Also, adding a filter step between the trigger and action can prevent unwanted emails from being uploaded. That small adjustment keeps your OneDrive organized and ensures only relevant files get stored. It’s a neat setup once you’ve tested it a couple of times.
