Updating Smartsheet Date Column with new value when adding new row

Hi,

I am creating a new row in Smartsheet based on a trigger that is functioning properly.

What I would like to do is this:

Update the NEW row with a date that is 14 days from the updated row’s date.

For example: When the updated row has a date column that says 03/18/2022, the NEW row I am adding should say 04/01/2022.

I have tried searching for answers with no success (probably just bad search terms).

I appreciate any help.

Hey there @SSuser! Maybe formatter would be a good step to implement after adding a new row? I’m not sure if you have tried this yet or not but please update this thread if you do! Best of luck 🙂

Hi @SSuser

Good question.

Check out this help article if the field is a Date/Time field type:

Otherwise, you can use this Zapier action step: Formatter > Date / Time > Add/Subtract Time

Hey @SSuser, just checking in to see if you were able to implement any of these solutions and if your issue resolved?

Thank you both...the formatter did the trick for me!
