Hello I have a check box (true/false) field on contacts in salesforce that triggers an Add Subscriber to Tag in Mailchimp.

 

Every time I update the contact it runs through the actions and charges me tasks even though it is already tagged. Is there a way to use filters to stop it if it is already tagged? Can’t seem to figure this out

I saw you had a convo going with Dennis in Support who shared that we need to make an API call to Mailchimp to know if the tag exists or not. Making this call will always costs one task unless we are able to know from Salesforce if the Tag exists.

I’m unsure of any workaround here but wanted to close the loop on your post here!
