I am trying to have Google Sheets send information to QuickBooks regarding inventory levels, but i do not see any fields for updating existing products in Zapier, only to create new ones. Is this something that is not supported? Maybe a work around could be to delete the existing product and just create a new one with the new quantity that I have? Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Josh

Hey @Joshua Mursic!
I did some checking and you’re quite right, there currently isn’t an action to update existing products on the QuickBooks app. There isn’t a delete action either, but we don’t typically have delete-type actions as they could well end up deleting the wrong things if the Zap isn’t set up right.
There is an existing feature request open for the ability to update existing products in QuickBooks though so I’ve added your vote for that.
Not an immediate solution I know but we’ll notify you by email as soon as it’s added. And we’ll be sure to pop back in here to post any updates on this feature request. 🙂

We have both an online store and storefront. We would like the inventory on the website (we use woo commerce with Zapier) to stay update to date if a sale is done in person through QuickBooks. As well as if we make a sale on the website, QuickBooks onlne inventory is updated.
