Update booking details with new customer info

Hi everyone, I am trying to import our MEWS guest data into Airtable so that I can build a follow up email / sms procedure.

Right now, I get every new booking from Mews into Airtable via Zapier. However, if a customer books for multiple guests and doesn’t add the extra names immediately but later (for instance thanks to one of the emails I want to send through Zapier), I can’t get those records to be updated. 

I see the Update customer trigger but that one seems not to have a booking / reservation reference in it.


Anyone has any clue how to resolve this?

Are you able to change a Mews setting to mandate that the additional names are included when originally filling out the request?


Perhaps you can outline a specific example for us to have more context.

Also, it’s helpful to include screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured, thanks.


Once you have the data, you can use these Zap steps to find/update the record in Airtable.

Action: Airtable - Find Record

Action: Airtable - Update Record
