I am trying to update a record in app sheets from Data coming in from Lodgify, it is not displaying the app that should have the data inside of. it. App `sheet is using it’s own internal database.

Here a video that better explains the issue.

Hi @gwhaccounts,

I did some digging into this, and it seems like the issue where the “Application” dropdown is not loading anything is a known bug with the AppSheet app. Our team is aware of the issue and we're working with AppSheet on a fix. I've added your email address as another affected user. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track and prioritize fixes
  • Allows us to notify you via email if/when this is fixed

Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA, but I’ve added you to the list of users affected by this issue so we can let you know as soon as we have any updates.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Had the same issue and resolved it.  You have to go into the admin console for the google workspaces account and disable the AppSheet Core security.  Then you have to manage the appsheet app go to integrations and enable the IN: from cloud services to your app and create an application access key.  Once this is done and you save it will work.  If you save and it reverts you likely have a yellow triangle saying your api access is not allowed because the AppSheet Core security is still enabled on the workspaces account.

I was able to finally connect to the appsheet table but now stuck again because the row id is showing as a required field but this should not be in the zap step at all since it is auto populated on the appsheet side.  At this point I am going to switch to a google sheet for the data instead.  This will actually work better anyway.  Hopefully Zapier and Appsheet support can sort this out.

Hi @ccsofutah,

Wow! Thank you for confirming that your resolution got the Zap running. This will significantly help our Community members to have as a reference for the same issue.
