Can someone help me understand how Zapier communicates with PracticeBetter when a patient cancels? 

Is it triggered by…

  • The provider canceling the appointment
  • The patient canceling the appointment
  • Either or?

Sometimes it doesn’t seem to capture all of the cancellations.

I did some digging into this, and it seems like there’s an ongoing bug for the “Cancelled Booking” trigger where it misses some of the cancellations. Our team is aware of the issue and we're working with Practice Better on a fix. I've added your email address as another affected user. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track and prioritize fixes
  • Allows us to notify you via email if/when this is fixed

Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA, but I’ve added you to the list of users affected by this issue so we can let you know as soon as we have any updates.

Additionally, you can reach out to Practice Better support team and let them know about the bug when using their integration in Zapier since they are the one who maintains and updates their integration with Zapier.
