Tweet -> Text File -> Email Attachment

Hello,

I want to create a zap that takes liked tweets, saves them to a text file, then once a day emails the text file as an atchement.

I’m having trouble identifying the right app to be able to generate the text file.

Any suggestions?

Hey @chuckblake,

I think you can achieve this with the following workflow:

  1. Trigger: Twitter - Liked Tweets
  2. Action: Google Docs - Create Doc from Text
  3. Action: Schedule (here you set a time for when you send it)
  4. Action: Gmail - Send Email (Use only the part of the text you would like)

Let me know if this helps. Best Wishes

Hi @chuckblake

To further what @Ennes suggested

Try this GDoc action

Hey, @chuckblake

This may not be what you are looking for but if you are just storing the information to be able to send a email at the end of the day, then you could use the Zapier Digest and then release the txt embedded in the email.

Hi friends! 👋🏽I wanted to pop in and consolidate some of the helpful answers here:

Troy also mentioned utilizing the “Append Text to Document” action as a way to refine that workflow. Finally another alternative:

I hope this helps! Happy zapping! ⚡️
