Hello!

So we’d like to start capturing partial entries from our forms in WP Forms and sending them into our CRM using Zapier. We already have automations in place that do this with regular entries, but would like it to work with partial entries as well.

We’ve done some research (including contacting Zapier support) and know that this is not natively available yet. It may be developed in the future, but no specific timeline has been given for this.

Has anyone found a way around this issue? Thank you in advance!

Maybe look into using this WPForms Add-On: https://wpforms.com/features/form-abandonment/

We are using that add-on, and the partial entries get generated and stored in the website’s backend. The problem is these entries don’t trigger the Zaps in Zapier. That is what we’re looking a way around for.

I noticed that you’re already working with one of our Support Specialists on this. They explained,

I confirmed that the WPForms integration doesn't support an 'Abandoned Form' trigger but I can see how that would be useful. I’ve added you to an existing feature request which does a few things:

  • Brings this to the attention of the integration developers (the WPForms team)
  • Helps track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future
