Trigger a zap based on a new lead being created in Hubspot?

Hi,

 

I’m trying to trigger a new Zap when a led is added to Hubspot. Either its not possible or I am looking in the wrong place. There don’t seem to be any events associated with lead creation. Any suggestions?

Hi Troy,

 

I have tried both of those with no success. I am creating leads through the Hubspot lead form which isn't detected as a valid form in the event. In terms of custom objects - again I don't have any so the event isn't picking anything up. Am I doing something wrong?

To give us more context, post screenshots with what the end users sees for the lead form and where you see those leads in HubSpot after a user submits the form.

I’m using the Create Lead from from within Hubspost under the Prospecting Menu.

@Smasher 

In HubSpot “Leads” is an Object.

 

Looks like a Lead is either a Contact or a Company.

So try using that HubSpot object as your Zap trigger.
