Question

Trello Customer information from Quickbooks

Looking to setup Trello cards for customer jobs and want to have access to QB customer information.

Was thinking I could setup a trigger from a QB Online customer estimate acceptance trigger to then push a create a card in Trello with the customer information that I would map.

Would this be possible? Give me a walk through for creating this flow, thanks!

Hi @JSleys

Zap apps can be searched here: https://zapier.com/apps

Each Zap app has a profile page that shows the available triggers/actions and help links.

Trello

https://zapier.com/apps/trello/integrations#triggers-and-actions

https://zapier.com/apps/trello/integrations#help

QBO

https://zapier.com/apps/quickbooks/integrations#triggers-and-actions

https://zapier.com/apps/quickbooks/integrations#help

Try configuring your Zap and testing the Zap steps.

Thank you for these links, I had parsed through them pretty thoroughly and didn’t see exactly what I am asking for.

I think to get what i need, I have to do a couple zaps to get the outcome. As QBO is limited with triggers from what I am reading.

Is that your experience as well? QBO is limited?

Hi @JSleys,

Welcome to the Community.

You're spot on. Many users have found that QuickBooks Online (QBO) has some limitations in its Zapier integration, especially around available triggers and real-time updates. Setting up multiple Zaps or using searches and filters to fill in the gaps is pretty common. If you share more about your specific workflow, we'd be happy to help think of a workaround that gets you closer to what you need.
