In the Trello Create Card action in my Zap, I would like to map some data into the Custom Fields Power-Up per this article https://zapier.com/blog/updates/1439/Trello-Power-Up-Custom-Fields

If this is still possible to do, it would be great to know how.

Hi @Steve123

Once you add Custom Fields to a Trello Board via the Power-Up, those fields will appear in the Trello Actions to create/update Cards.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Thanks @Troy Tessalone

It doesn’t seem to work during this zap.

Trigger: Update Deal Stage in Pipedrive

Action: Copy Trello board from template

Action: Find board

Action: Add cards (this is so that the due dates can be relative to the time of the Pipedrive trigger)

The copy board does get the power ups that are on the template board but find board doesn’t seem to see that.

The aim of the zap is to create identical trello boards for all new customers that include identical labels, lists, cards, power ups: the lot. + Custom fields also….. But I’m stuck. Due dates are different because they depend on the date of the Pipedrive trigger.

If I’m going to have to manually create the board, list, cards, labels, and due dates just so that I can get hold of my custom fields in a zap, I might as well manually do that as well.

I would be very grateful for any ideas on a workaround if you have any…

Hi @Steve123

The Power-Ups would likely have to be manually added to each new Board.

A more technical approach would be to leverage the Trello APIs: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-boards/#api-boards-id-powerups-post

Although unsure if the Custom Fields and settings would carry over even if the Power-Up is programmatically enabled on the new cloned Board.

Perhaps take a look at a different app, such as ClickUp which has Templates: https://zapier.com/apps/clickup/integrations

Thanks for such a quick reply.

Does seem as though the power ups are copied over but I will take a look at your links.

Thank you
