Hello! I’m not sure if I’m expecting too much from Zapier but I’m keen to roll this out for my firm’s pitch proposal process, if it can do what I want it to. We hold all of our experience of previous works in Google Sheets, all categorised by industry and work type.  Can Zapier: 

  1. When a new tender is put into Monday, the trigger to be when a new entry is made into column “industry type” eg mining
  2. Zapier to search the relevant Google Sheets worksheet, and find experience relating to anything that has been categorised as “mining” from a cell
  3. The information from this cell that holds the experience in “mining” to be copied and inputted into the tender template in Google Docs

  1. Trigger: Monday - Specific Column Value Changed in Board
  2. Action: GSheets - Lookup Row(s)
  3. Action: GDocs - Create Doc from Template

 

NOTE: Additional Zap steps may be need for additional logic.
