How to set up the delay after queue or delay properly?

I used a tool called Placid to create images based on the data I put on a google spreadsheet.

The trigger is “new spreadsheet row”, when I added 4 new spreadsheet row at once I want Zapier to send data to Placid every 30 mins per each of the spreadsheet row.

New Rows > Send to Placid > Wait 30 mins

I added a delay after queue at the end of the Zap, but the data are still being sent all at once.

Please help.

Hi @kevinpg

Try these Zap steps…

  1. Trigger: GSheets - New Row
  2. Action: Delay After Queue (30 mins) https://zapier.com/help/create/customize/add-delays-to-zaps#delay-after-queue
  3. Action: Placid - Create Image

Hi Troy,

I tried this sequence. I’ve inserted 4 new rows on Gsheets, but the data are still being sent at once - all 4 to Placid.

Is there anything I might be doing wrong here?

@kevinpg

Please post screenshots of how each of your Zap steps is configured.

Here, is this image enough?

@kevinpg

The Queue Title should be a static/hardcoded value (not a mapped dynamic variable).

You want all rows added to the same Queue.

Thank you so much Troy! The solution solved my problem.

Hi there!

I wanted to pop in and consolidate Troy’s responses into one post for anyone who may be following along!

And then from there, it should be noted that:
