I’ve created a basic zap that creates a zendesk support ticket whenever someone posts in a specific channel. My issue is that people could reply to messages, or just say something like ‘good morning’ before actually typing the question.

I don’t see a way of customising the logic used in slack, is there a way i can only trigger the zap if a certain word or phrase is detected - for example if they mention the word ‘IT support’ it raises a call? i’m currrently testing the free version so wondering if the paid version gives me this option.

Hi @Dorbs 

With a paid Zapier plan you’ll be able to add a “Filter” action step after the trigger and have the zap only run if certain keywords are in the message body:
