I've got a zap set up to create Asana tasks for new messages in a specific channel. However, every message - including comments to specific threads - is created as a new tasks in Asana. I only want the original message created as a task, not the comments. Any suggestions for how to turn this off? Thanks!

Hey @CHmoofer ,

Which is your Trigger event in your Zap? Also Did you try with below trigger event?

Hey @jayeshkumarbhatia! It's exactly like your screenshot, “New Message Posted to Channel”.  It's working great for new messages, but it's also including the comments, which I don't want (or need).

Hey @CHmoofer ,

I can suggest a solution which is below -

I believe you should be able to solve the problem with filter.

This worked! I used the filter ‘Thread Ts’ and selected ‘Does not exist’ and that stopped the comments from turning into tasks. Thanks!
