I've got a zap set up to create Asana tasks for new messages in a specific channel. However, every message - including comments to specific threads - is created as a new tasks in Asana. I only want the original message created as a task, not the comments. Any suggestions for how to turn this off? Thanks!

I can suggest a solution which is below -
- From Zap History compare data in and data out of both the message type and find unique value
- Than use filter by zapier https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help
I believe you should be able to solve the problem with filter.
