Question

Sending email from GetResponse through sendgrid. Is it possible?

I would like to be able to use Zapier to trigger and event whereas anytime an email is to be sent, either as a campaign auto-responder or manually, that the email will go through sendgrid utilizing their SMTP server of which I have an account.

Is something like this possible?  I don’t see anywhere in GetResponse that I can setup my own SMTP server.

Thanks,

Billie

Hi @Billie Schofield

Zapier has its own SMTP app that you can utilize to send out the emails:

Hi there @Billie Schofield

Looking at the current actions for the GetResponse app it seems that it’s not possible to send an email. If the email is to be sent using your SendGrid account though, could you maybe try using a Send Email (SendGrid) action in a Zap instead? That action should allow you to send the email from your SendGrid account.

Would that work for your use case or does it need to be scheduled to go out through GetResponse but using your SendGrid SMTP server? Please let us know! 🙂
