Sending an email response from PayPal purchase

We have a Zap set up to trigger when a PayPal purchase is made and add the contact information to iContact. We are trying to send a confirmation email to that customer. The iContact “Send HTML message” option has a List to send the email to. We do not want to send to an entire list, just to the current customer. 

 Is there something that can be entered in the LIST field that indicates only the current record?

Hi @Josiah! It looks like icontact will only send messages to the whole list rather than an individual contact. @Nate is right that you’d be better using a tool that’s designed to send emails to individuals rather than lists.

 

Gmail or Outlooks would be good to use if you want to send the email from your own address but there are lots of other mailing apps there, you can check them out here.

@Josiah, it would probably be a good idea to use a Gmail or Outlook step instead of iContact to send the email. Is there a particular reason you want to send out the email through iContact?
