I manage a team and we use Google Workspace Shared Drives. I am trying to get a notification via email when a file is moved into a specific Shared Drive. I was able to create a Zap to email me if a new file is created in the shared drive but that doesn’t work if someone creates the file in their My Drive and subsequently moves it to the shared drive (as they do frequently).

Any suggestions?

Ah, yes - Google Drive can be a bit picky about the files it triggers on with “New File in Folder”. 😔

@christina.d thank you! That helped. Any idea why there are those strange nuances and if they will ever disappear? Is it a bug or API limitation?
