Searching through PDF in Google Drive file

Hello Everyone!


I need to run a task that will search for a specific TERM in one of the PDF files which is located on Google Drive. What's the best way to so?

Thank you for your answers @AndrewJDavison_Luhhu and @Danvers ! I know it could be done with these apps, but I wanted to see if anyone else knows how it could be done without use of third party apps. I noticed Zapier has option to use Python code, could that be done if I hire Python developer to write required code for this task?


Hi @MrWonderful! The only way to search through a pdf would be if you were using an app that could 'parse' the pdf, like Parseur or Docparser. It's not possible to do it straight from Google Drive, sorry!

Sadly, this isn't something you're going to be able to do with Zapier I'm afraid.
