Hello,
I am trying to do some searches in the zapier interface to find the rich descriptions that I use. Does anyone have a way to do this (I am open to porting the descriptions somewhere if necessary)

Searching Zap Descriptions is not currently possible.
Here are some possibilities:
Export Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/manage/collaborate/import-and-export-zaps-in-your-team-or-company-account
Export data from Settings > Data Mgmt
