Searching for a trigger: temperatures expected 5 days ahead

Hello, I am a new user. I would like to set some actions needed, depending on the future weather temperatures. For example, if the temperatures are expected to be below a setpoint (4° C Celsius), a remainder or event calendar should hurry me do move some sensible materials to cover instead to leave them outside.

The today or tomorrow temperatures are useless: to be useful, the remainder should be triggered some days in advance… do you have any hint about it?

Hi @ozz

You’ll have to look into using a weather app that offers webhook events or API endpoints.

Try asking ChatGPT for possible options.

Hello @ozz  you can set this up in Zapier.

Use Weather by Zapier or OpenWeather as the trigger and have it check the forecast once a day for your location.

Then add a Filter so it only continues when the forecasted temp is below 4°C and the date is a few days out, not today or tomorrow.

After that, just add your action to send yourself a reminder or create a calendar event.

Hello @drtanvisachar thanks but In Zapier I do not see any OpenWeather app or tool.

Zapier Weather seems to have today or tomorrow forecast as available triggers.
