How do I create a zap that bill take an invoice from Stripe and the create that invoice in QBO.  Here’s the kicker, I want the Zap to see if the customer from Stripe already exists in QBO.

If the customer already exists in QBO, I want the Zap to create an invoice in QBO under the customer.

If the customer doesn’t exist in QBO, I want the Zap to create the customer and invoice in QBO.

How do I do this?

Hello! Would you believe it, this is the most common use case for my customer base. I think I’ve set up 5 of these exact zaps this year:

  1. New invoice from Stripe
  2. Using email, look up customer in QBO
    1. If customer exists - Great
    2. If customer doesn’t exist - Create them (There’s a little check box at the bottom)
  3. Create the invoice with returned customer from step 2.

Job done :D
