Schedule by Zapier + Airtable + Gmail

Hi there,

I am a newbie trying a workflow with zapier for 2 days now, but seems like I am not getting any success, so decided to jump in here, and ask for help.

So what I wanted to do is send a Gmail email reminder every 9am for any due task that day referencing airtable base file.

I tried using a’schedule by zapier’ first,a dn tried ’+’ adding ‘airtable’ but when airtable is added, there’s no option of “when a record is added in view’.  I also tried the other way around (using airtable first), but when I click ‘+’ sign, the schedule by zapier is not an option.

I am sure there’s a solution but am looking at the wrong one :-( Help.

Hi Vickie,

Please check this link. I think it should help.

https://community.airtable.com/t/date-based-notifications/18405

Just a note from the thread above.

“...I would make a new view “Licenses Expiring Soon” with a filter Expiration Date > “Is Within” > “The Next Month” or however soon you want to be notified.

Then use a Zapier integration “Get notifications about new Airtable records in a view via email...”

https://zapier.com/apps/airtable/integrations/email/12909/get-notifications-about-new-airtable-records-in-a-view-via-email

But instead of the native Zapier’s email tool, you will use Gmail.

Thank you @ponvaskon

I actually tried airtable + zapier and it is working well.

However what I was trying to do is  perform the zap at a certain time (say 10am daily) by adding “schedule by Zap”.  Is there a way to achieve it?

Maybe you can try the Zapier's Delay until app as the second step of the automation.
