Hi there. I have a Google doc that was shared with me and I would like to download a copy every week to my OneDrive. Since I don’t own this file or have edit rights it does not live in my Google Drive. I have a link that I use to view the doc. This is how I would like the Zap to work:

  • Every Saturday at 9am save a new copy of the shared doc to a folder on my OneDrive

Is this possible? I’ve been racking my brain and googling for days...

Hi @cpzap

Good question.

Here’s a help article about using Files in Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/send-files-in-zaps

Try this with your Zap Steps:

  1. Trigger: Schedule
  2. Action: GDrive - Find File
  3. Action: OneDrive - Upload File (map file from step 2)
