Hi Team,

Working with a client in which I built a Zap that contains multiple steps and API calls.

Recently there were some fails due to an API limit on the pricing plan they selected.

The pricing plan was changed and their API limits were removed.

However, I need to rerun a few steps before the failed step. Not necessarily the trigger but after the trigger.

Any suggested workaround?

Thanks again for the support!

Hi @quickjeff

Best advice is to trigger the Zap again with the desired data.

There is currently no ability to rerun an entire Zap failed or successful.

Article: https://zapier.com/help/manage/history/replay-failed-zap-runs

Replaying a Zap run only retries failed steps, not successful steps.
For example, a Zap might have 2 actions:

  1. Send an email
  2. Add a spreadsheet row.

If the Zap runs and successfully sends the email, but fails to add the spreadsheet row, replaying the Zap run will only attempt to add the spreadsheet row again, not send the email again.

Hi @quickjeff!

This may not be applicable in your exact situation but you can check out this article for some possible workarounds:

@quickjeff

Were you able to get this squared away based on the previous suggestions?

Please let us know, thanks.
