Reconnect to an app using a different API key

Hi there,

If I reconnect an app using a different API key, will I need to reconfigure any of the zap step configurations using that app?

In other words, I’d like to make sure that If I swap out an API key I don't need to redo all dependant zaps.

In my case, the new API key is for a different user in Airtable which has all the same access permissions in Airtable as the existing user/API key.

Cheers

I ran a test. It works! You can swap an Airtable API Key for use in a trigger step, and it won’t affect your data configurations in later steps.

In my case, my new Airtable API Key had exactly the same permissions as the original.

Hi @Dean____****

Try making a copy of the Zap and switching the authenticated app account, then checking.

Best advice: When in doubt, test it out.
