Can Zapier be used to set up automations in QBPOS? There are a lot of manual processes in our retail store that could be automated if we had the right software to utilize.

Have you checked out Zapier Triggers and Actions associated with Quickbooks Commerce? 

 

Can you tell us more about what you want to do with your QBPOS?

Quickbooks Commerce is their online inventory/ordering system. I am running Quickbooks Point of Sale which is a desktop based software.

I want to set up different actions where if we change the status of an order in our system, it automatically sends a Zap through to TextMagic to send a text to the customer notifying them their parts are here and so on.

Hello there!

It doesn’t looks like Quickbooks POS is supported as a trigger app on Zapier yet.

 

However, if the data syncs with Quickbooks Online, we can make use of that data in a Zap.

@NeverEnoughAuto Quickbooks POS is in fact, not currently supported. However if you’d like to move to Quickbooks Online, we can try to help you out. Is that something you are interested in?
