I would like to create a Zap that tags a email as “Customer” on Keap when they purchase an item on my WIX page. Not sure how to go about it, totally new to Keap and Zapier.

This is so I can use Keap to email people who have not made a purchase yet. Maybe there is a better way, I’m open to ideas.

Hi @Ghost Gear

Check out the available triggers/actions/searches for each app.

Wix Automations: https://zapier.com/apps/wix-automations/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Keap: https://zapier.com/apps/keap/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Just wanted to follow up here to add that you’d potentially need to use a Find Contact Keap action as well.

Troy is correct on using the Automations Rule to trigger a Zap when an item is purchase in WIX, and the Tag Contact action would indeed add a tag to the contact. But for cases where the contact doesn’t already exist you’d likely want to use a Find Contact step in between them. That search action also has the ability to create a new contact in Keap when an existing one isn’t found.

So you’d want to set up a Zap with the following trigger and actions:

  1. New Automation in WIX - triggers when product is purchased in WIX
  2. Find Contact in Keap Max Classic Integrations - finds or creates new contact
  3. Tag Contact in Keap Max Classic Integrations - applies tag to existing contact

And we have a guide on working with search actions that may be useful: Find Contact in Keap Max Classic Integrations

Hopefully this information is helpful to anyone looking to build a similar workflow! :)
