Is it possible to update fields on Zendesk based on update on Asana card.

 

For an example, if a bug’s priority is marked as P2 on asana, is it possible to update on same on Zendesk’s ticket automatically with Zap.

Am I correct in thinking that Asana cards are the tasks on a project Board view?

If so, I’d have thought you could use the following trigger and actions

  • Trigger: Updated Task in Project (Asana) - 
  • Action: Find a Ticket (Zendesk) - searches for the relevant ticket based on the Asana task information provided by the trigger.
  • Action: Update Ticket (Zendesk) - updates the relevant fields on the ticket found by the previous action. 

 

Quick note on the above: in order for the Update Ticket action to update the correct ticket you’d need to choose the Custom value option from the Ticket field and select the ID field from the Find a Ticket action.
