Hi,

I’ve set up a zap using email parser as the trigger and it works well except that it fires every time there is a reply to that thread. Is there a way to limit triggers to only the first message of the thread?

 

Here are the specifics of my zap:

  1. email arrives to Gmail and is automatically forwarded to parser inbox with a filter.
  2. parser triggers zap which creates an opportunity in Copper CRM

I wonder if there is a way to either limit the filter in Gmail to only forward the initial message of the thread to the parser inbox or to limit this in the Zap using filters or something.

This needs to be resolved on the Gmail side, you can send your search/filter term that you use here as a screenshot.

You can can try using in:inbox filter and see if that works.
