  • Hi There,

I have am looking to implement Offline Conversion Tracking for my Google Ads account.

    I have;
    - Added invisible field GCLID.
    - Made Zapps for all the forms on the website
    - Connected a Google Sheet

The problem is that the GCLID's wont load in the sheet (except for one test). Also the time stamp is not shown with every submission.

I have checked if the GCLID value does not disapear when naviagitng to a new page, but this is not the case.

Is there anyone that has an idea what else I can try?

Thanks so much!

Kind Regards,

Team Gouden Vloot

Hi @Gouden Vloot,

Welcome to the Community.

In order to set up offline conversion tracking, ensure the GCLID is properly captured in your forms by enabling URL parameter capture or custom JavaScript. Verify that your Zap correctly maps the GCLID to a column in your Google Sheet. For timestamps, use Zapier's Formatter tool with the "Date/Time" action to format and write them consistently.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

@JammerS Thanks for your awnser. What if this is already fixed? I have a hidden field where then Gclid field is captured dynamically

We capture the email, phonenumer ,names and times in the Google Sheet but the GCLID stays empty. (dont know why we did manage to capture one test submit)

Hi @Gouden Vloot,

To address issues with the empty GCLID field in your Google Sheet, ensure your form is set up to capture the GCLID in a hidden field and test submissions to confirm it's working. Verify your Zap is configured to map the GCLID to the Google Sheet and check your Google Ads tracking template to ensure it appends the GCLID correctly. If problems persist, contact the support team for further troubleshooting.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
