Notify All Users Shared on a Google Drive Folder that there's a new file

This must exist as I'm sure so many people need this sort of output

 I'd like to have sappier send an email to all users that have a view permissions on a Google drive folder when there's a new file.

 

This way I can add a file into a Google drive folder and not have to manually email all the shared users that a new file has been added.

 I can get Zappier to set a specific recipient but how do I get it to check the shared users on the folder and automatically use them as the recipient?

Zapier cannot directly retrieve the list of shared users from Google Drive due to API limitations, but a workaround you can try is to Create a Shared Users List in Google Sheets either manually or automatically, you decide.
 

Add a Google Sheets > Lookup Spreadsheet Row(s) step.

  • Fetch all rows (emails) from your shared users Sheet. 

Just a rough workflow:

Google Drive (New File in Folder) → Google Sheets (Fetch Shared Users) → Loop Emails → Email by Zapier (Send Notification)
