Hi there, 

I’ve got a Zap that takes TypeForm entries and sends them into Zapier using the New ticket action. 

I’m setting the status of tickets to be ‘New’, but for some reason they’re being added as ‘Open’. 

Wondering if this is something to do with either the ‘first comment public’ field being set to true, or the fact we’re specifying tags on this ticket and on Zendesk’s side that happens after the ticket creation, meaning it’s then ‘Open’? 

Has anyone got any experience with this and ways around it so that new tickets with tags are in fact ‘New’?

 

 

I believe this was down to setting an assignee. Once I removed that, tickets were created as New, correctly.
