I have the following setup:
- Trigger: New reaction added in Slack
- Action: Create Issue in Jira
- Action: Send canned message to thread
But what I’m finding is that it only works in Public channels, is this expected?
Adding the trigger reaction to a Direct Messages and Private Channels does not trigger the zap. however when I go into the Zap in the Zapier Console and test the trigger, I’m able to reload and see the data for these messages in the DM/Private Channel.
The Slack Account that is being used in the Zap is mine which has access to these DM/Private Channel (hence why it sees the data when testing, but it just does not trigger automaticlly).
