Mailchimp add / update subscriber for recurring payments

I have a Paypal to Mailchimp zap which "adds/updates" Mailchimp audience list after a payment is confirmed.

But I sell subscriptions - so some people pay monthly... how can I stop the follow up email going out if the person is already on the Mailchimp list? i.e. triggers ONLY for new subscribers.

Hi @RCaroe

You should add a find person step to the zap, to see if a person already exists on the list. Then, before then before the add/update person step, add a filter than only passes if the 'ID' from the search step 'does not exist'.
