Hi,

Zap inventory updated requires a 'Catalog Object' to update the inventory in Square system, but it only retrieves the line item 'Uid' making it incompatible and unusable for this functionality, It requires an additional API call to which you offer in 'beta' can you please tell me if you plan on fixing this, or if this a workaround other than custom API calls. Thanks!

Hey @DresZap ,

You will have to make custom API call to get the Catalog Object id to udpate inventory on Square

Hi @DresZap 👋

What trigger are you using for the Zap—is it the New Order trigger?

I’m wondering if the Uids that it’s supplying are a match for any of the ids that are listed in the Catalog Object field. 🤔 You can find the ID’s for the different catalog objects listed under their name in the Catalog Object field:

If the Uids are a match for the ID of the corresponding catalog object then, in the Catalog Object field you could select the Custom value option and map the Uid field from the Square trigger. And that would dynamically select the correct catalog object. Could that approach work or do the Uid values and IDs not match?

Looking forward to hearing from you on this!
