Hey there,

I’ve recently started experimenting with Zapier and I was wondering: Is there a to have multiple triggers setting of the same chain of events?

There’s an automation I want to create and the process is the same, but there could be different triggers? Is there any way to achieve this in Zapier right now?

You can have multiple Zaps that have the same trigger.

You can have 1 Zap with multiple actions from trigger event.

You can use Filters in your Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Perhaps you can outline the desired automation steps and criteria.

Steps

  1. Trigger: [APP] - [EVENT]
  2. Action: [APP] - [EVENT]
  3. Action: [APP] - [EVENT]

Zapier also has Paths: https://zapier.com/apps/paths/integrations

Hey @janosch.hrm ! Welcome to the community - It’s a good question - And apologies for the late reply.

You could create multiple zaps here, which is probably the quickest way to do it. For example, you can create your entire flow from start to finish, and then once you’re done, and you’ve tested it out, you can then choose to clone your zap from the menu here:

Then just hop into your new zap and change your trigger. There are some more elegant ways of doing this, but for a small project with a few different triggers - I hope this should be fine.

Thanks! Let me know if this solved it!
