I’ve been working with the Zapier chatbot for a few months now, making improvements as I go - building a knowledge source of frequently asked questions and creating data feeds of products and offers. Which all works really well.
However I have 2 problems…
- The chatbot doesn’t use the whole conversation when providing a response, causing it to provide information which is logically correct but not optimal. For example - if a customer asks about a make and model of car that we sell, the chatbot will do a great job of providing that information. But if the customer then types ‘used’, the chat bot will return a selection of our used cars instead of used examples of the car the customer originally enquired about.
- The chatbot has no information about the webpage it’s on. Customers often ask ‘is this car still available’ but the chatbot has no idea that the car they are referring to is the one on their screen.
If I could solve these 2 issues it would massively improve what is already an outstanding resource.
