Is there a way to add a row to an Excel sheet without disrupting the data, even if someone modifies the sheet by adding a new column?

Life adding data by finding the column header?

Hi there @Sun Peaks Helpdesk, welcome to the Community! 🎉

The best way to avoid any potential issues when a new column is added would be to turn off the Zap, add the new column, then remap the fields in the Zap where necessary and turn the Zap back on. See: Other Microsoft Excel Tips:

Another thing you could try would be something like Google Sheets’ IMPORTRANGE formula. Where you’d have the Zap adding information into a specific spreadsheet that only you access. And have a second spreadsheet that your colleagues can make edits to in which you use Excel’s version of that IMPORTRANGE formula to automatically import the data across from the spreadsheet that’s connected to the Zap—seems like you’d need to set up a workbook link for that. That way if someone adds a column to the second spreadsheet that wouldn’t affect the Zap that’s connected to the other spreadsheet.

Hope that helps to get you pointed in the right direction. If you run into any issues or have further questions just let us know! 🙂
