Integrating Sheets, Gmail, and Calendar for Research Ops

Hi there

I am a Research Ops lead, looking to make our current system more efficient. 

Currently, we are using different systems eg Calendly, Mailchimp, G-Sheets...etc

I am looking to integrate my participant database (Sheets), with interviews schedule (Calendar), which I need for:

  • linking participant database (Sheets) with interviews schedule (Calendar)
  • sending standard pre-interview briefing email to participants with personalised greetings/name (Gmail)
  • sending pre-interview Reminder email (Gmail)
  • sending post-interview Thank-You with link to claim incentives (Gmail)
  • update incentive payment status for each participant, upon email sent (Sheets + Gmail)

Not sure if Zapier can help with this, any thoughts on this please?

What calendar app are you using for scheduling? (e.g. Calendly)

 

Have you reviewed the available Zap triggers/actions for each app to get a sense of what can be accomplished with your desired workflows?

GSheets: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/integrations#triggers-and-actions

 

NOTE: I’d recommend using Airtable instead of GSheets.

I am actually using Google Calendar for scheduling interviews

 

I would to sync Calendar, Sheets and Gmail

 

eg when a participant books an interview session on Calendar, interview status changes to Booked on Sheets.

Once interview completes on Google Meet, interview status changes to Complete on Sheets, and a thank-you email sent with an incentive link 

 

I already created standard emails, ...etc

 

So looking for a way to connect all tools together
