I am looking to connect my ecommerce website to my quickbooks for seamless bookkeeping, but unsure how to set it up.

I am using Foxy.io as my shopping cart and Authorize.net as my payment gateway.

  1. Do I connect quickbooks to Foxxy.io or Authorize.net?
  2. I just want to pull over that a transaction was made, the amount and date. What event triggers will allow me to do this?

Note, I have a simple website that is currently selling a single product.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @ChadJohnson!

I checked on this for you and it appears that Foxy.io has an integration but it’s in private beta (see here). If you haven’t gotten access to that yet, that would be your first step. If you do already have access to it, then you’d want to use their New Transaction trigger, followed by a QuickBooks Online Find or Create Customer step, then likely a Create Payment step in QBO.

Since this message is from a few days ago, I thought maybe you’d made some progress :) Have you gotten that far yet, out of curiosity?
